Is this an adventure game or an interactive story game?
The short answer is “Yes!” Summer Daze gives you all of the story, characters, and choices of a Sierra-style graphic adventure game. But we’ve left out walking around and clicking on everything you see. As with most films, the story in Summer Daze is developed mostly in dialogue.

Are the game keys available on Steam, GOG, and itch.io?
Yes, except for the Quest for Glory keys on the $60 reward tier. We only have keys for that series on GOG.com. For all other game key rewards, you will have a choice of Steam, GOG, or itch.

On what platforms will I be able to play Summer Daze at Hero-U?
Summer Daze at Hero-U will at least run on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Android, and iOS. We will probably make a Nintendo Switch version. If the game is successful, we will consider porting it to consoles, but we have no current plans for console support.

What languages will you support? I noticed that the Kickstarter page is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.
We would like to translate Summer Daze at Hero-U into multiple languages. That will largely depend on reaching stretch goals in this campaign. We are currently working on Chinese, French, and German translations of Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption, and will consider additional translations if those are successful. For Summer Daze, we will prioritize those languages and Spanish. Other languages will depend on budget and our ability to locate talented and affordable translators for them. I supported Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption and preordered Hero-U: Wizards Way. What's the story on that game?
Wizards Way is still in the plans, but will depend on additional funding. It will also likely be a multi-year project like Rogue to Redemption. For anyone who preordered Wizards Way, we will give you the option of getting a copy of Summer Daze at Hero-U or a refund on the preorder price. This way you won’t have to wait additional years for a game which might or might not be made.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
